The Grand Salon
At Château de Vaudézert we are lucky to have a beautiful space which can cater for up to 60 seated guests for banqueting or wedding breakfast. This space is also available for wedding ceremonies, cocktail parties, evening DJ sets, conferences and workshops. The Salon is extremely versatile with its warm décor and large windows.
The space also features its own catering kitchen and separate bar area, meaning that it is fully equipped for your wedding or event.
For weddings and events of up to 60 guests, we can also provide a package for furniture and tableware hire.
The Ruby Dining Room & Lounge
As part of the West Wing, we have a large dining room and living area on the first floor. When renting the whole estate, this space can be used as an additional event space. Whether it is used as a space for the groomsmen to get ready, a place to relax with a glass of port at the end of the day or to use as a Plan B event area for your special day, the room can be versatile and elegant with its oak panelling and luxurious touches. It also has its own kitchen and separate facilities.
Outside spaces
Outside in the grounds of our Normandy Château, you really are spoilt for choice.
The gardens – located at the front of the Château, the gardens, with their beds full of flowers, are perfect for al-fresco dining or for a cocktail party. You can also have a marquee or stretch tent here if you wish.
The back lawn – behind the Château we have acres of space for your marquee and so can host up to 300 guests in this area.
The woodland – we love this space as an area for your ceremony. Romantic and natural, the dappled light from the trees coupled with rustic decoration provide a beautiful setting.
The terrace – at the front of the Château we have the terrace, which is a large area perfect for a cocktail reception. There is also a large hard standing area and good access should you want a food truck onsite.
The pool – no destination wedding is complete without the post-wedding pool party. Our heated pool is the ideal base as you continue the celebrations. Couple this with a BBQ and a dip in the hot tub and you’ve got a guaranteed relaxed and fun celebration in the Normandy summer sunshine.
