Here are some answers to the most common queries we’ve had from prospective guests about their holidays and stays at the Château.

Is there a swimming pool?

We have a heated outdoor swimming pool which is wonderful to enjoy during the warmer months! The pool is gated for safety and has an adjoining terrace with sun loungers. There are also two hot tubs which you are welcome to use.
 Is catering included?
The Château is self-catered with two well-equipped kitchens in the West Wing and the Gatehouse and an additional catering kitchen near the events hall, but we can also provide plenty of support and recommendations should you like to have caterers for your wedding, family party, holiday or other special occasion. You can choose caterers to suit your style and budget and we do not charge corkage.
Is breakfast included?
We can provide a delicious continental breakfast for an additional 10 euros per person or you can choose to self-cater your own breakfast if you prefer. 

Is there WiFi?

Yes, the Château has a good WiFi connection although we encourage our guests to disconnect from busy everyday life as much as possible during their stay. We have many books and games, the swimming pool and lots of nearby activities for big and little adventurers alike – check out our Explore page for things to do nearby.
 Do you provide bedding and towels?
Yes all towels and bedding are included for the duration of your stay. You may wish to bring extra towels with you for the pool.
 Are children’s beds/cots available?
Yes, if you need an extra bed for a child or a cot for a baby, please let us know ahead of arrival and we will always do our best to accommodate you. There is no extra charge for this service. 
 What is your availability and how do I book?
Please contact us to check availability for specific dates, as this changes quickly. We take bookings throughout the year. To book, please use the contact form below to reserve your stay.
How can I pay?
 All payments under 1000 euro will be required upfront at the time of booking to secure your room/rooms. For bookings over 1000 euros, a non-refundable deposit of 35% is required at the time of booking. The remaining balance is due eight weeks before arrival. All payments can be made via bank transfer or Wise. Bookings are non-refundable but are usually transferable and will be dealt with on a case-by-case basis. We also require a 600 euro security deposit for all bookings. This should be made by bank transfer at least two weeks in advance of your stay. Should everything be in order, the security deposit will be returned within four weeks of check-out.
What time can I check-in and check-out?
 You can check-in after 4pm. Please ensure that you confirm your estimated arrival time at least two weeks in advance and that it is included on your pre-arrival form. Check-out is before 10am. Later check-ins/check-outs are available for an additional fee. Subject to availability.

Is there parking? 


Yes, there is lots of free parking onsite.
Can I book the whole estate? 
 The Blanshard family live in a private apartment within the Château and will be onsite during your stay. You can choose to book just the West Wing and/or the Gatehouse or the entire estate which will also give you access to our event spaces and exclusivity throughout your stay. We can cater for a total of 19 staying guests.

Is there a washing machine on the premises?

 Yes, there is a washing machine in both the West Wing and the Gatehouse which available to all guests.
