The Gatehouse of Château de Vaudézert
Carefully restored, the Gatehouse of the Château is ideal for family holidays and group retreats and it can also be rented out as part of the wider estate. With three bedrooms, living area and kitchen, it is the perfect base to explore this beautiful part of Normandy. You will also have access to the swimming pool, a private hot tub, grounds and gardens. We can also offer a delicious continental breakfast for 10 € per person.

Living room
The living area features comfortable sofas and armchairs arranged around a central fireplace, perfect for cosy evenings by the fire. A flat-screen TV with English and French channels, a collection of books and lots of board games ensure there’s plenty of entertainment for guests.
The gîte’s exterior exudes rustic charm. Constructed of local stone, the building’s warm, earthy tones harmonize seamlessly with the surrounding countryside. A quaint garden with colourful blooms and a well-manicured lawn greets visitors upon arrival, providing a serene setting for outdoor relaxation.
Step inside, and you’ll find a tastefully decorated interior that combines modern comfort with a touch of provincial charm. The open-plan living space is filled with natural light, thanks to large windows, there is a log burning fire which creates an inviting and cozy atmosphere.

Continental breakfast is 10 € per person and includes tea, coffee, juice, fresh bread and pastries, fruit, yoghurt, ham, cheese, butter and preserves. All dietary requirements can be catered for.
